In May 2016, National Silicon Industry Group invested in Soitec and held 14.5% of its shares by subscription for the directional add-shares and share allotments of Soitec, a French listed company.

Soitec has approximately 3,600 patents worldwidely, with core technologies being RF-SOI and FD-SOI technologies.

　　NSIG's investment in Soitec is conducive to improving the group's layout in the area of SOI materials, and strengthening the internal synergy within NSIG through business cooperation with Soitec.
